Set up Kidharbor on the laptop

Enter the code from the parents' Kidharbor app. We download the installer with the code already embedded – nothing to type on the laptop.

No code yet? Download the installer without a code

  1. Sign in on the laptop with your own account (administrator) – not the child's account.
  2. Enter the 8-character code from the Kidharbor app above and download the file.
  3. Open the downloaded file. Windows may ask «Run anyway» – confirm it. No code needs to be entered any more.
  4. Then create a standard user account (without administrator rights) for your child.

The code is valid for 15 minutes and used once. Kidharbor is always visible on the PC (tray icon, entry in «Apps & Features», a Windows service with a clear name).
